The first project would construct 7 miles of 16-inch pipeline the company said would be used to convey freshwater between shale gas well pads 726 Pad A and Fox Pad B. (PA Bulletin, page 8137)
The right-of-way will go through Plunketts Creek, Mill Creek, Wolf and Shrewsbury Townships in Lycoming County with portions of the pipeline aboveground and below ground..
The project will include multiple stream crossings and wetland impacts on Pine Run (High Quality), Rush Run (High Quality), Mill Creek (High Quality), Lauren Run (Exceptional Value) and Big Run (Exceptional Value).
The second project would construct 1.4 miles of 8-inch natural gas pipeline on a right-of-way in Shrewsbury Township, Lycoming County that also supports shale gas development. (PA Bulletin, page 8136)
The project would have multiple stream crossing and wetland impacts in the Big Run (Exceptional Value) watershed.
Comments are due on the permits by January 13. No hearings have been scheduled, but they can be requested.
