Contact the Susquehanna River Basin Commission to report suspected violations of these requirements.

[Note: While DEP sets water withdrawal limits for shale gas operations in Western Pennsylvania’s Ohio River Basin based on low-flow conditions, there is no regional agency like the Susquehanna River Basin Commission there to ensure safe levels of water withdrawals. There is no similar dashboard showing which withdrawals are under water use restrictions. Washington County is the county with the most shale gas drilling in Pennsylvania.]
