Learn How To Save Money On Energy Thru PA Solar Center’s G.E.T. Solar Program In Oct. 31 Webinar For Businesses, Nonprofits, Communities

With the quickly rising cost of electricity and the new federal incentives available for those going solar, now is the time to explore how going solar on your own property can save your organization hundreds to thousands of dollars on electricity bills.

G.E.T. Solar is a program offered by the PA Solar Center (a statewide nonprofit) to educate businesses, nonprofits, and community property owners on the benefits of going solar.

We will provide free technical assistance and financial guidance to organizations who want to learn more about going solar -- and how it can save them money.

For example, just last year, the Community College of Allegheny County successfully went solar through the G.E.T. Solar Program and will save an estimated $750,000 in energy costs over the next 28 years.

And thanks to a specialized, yet simple financing package, CCAC didn't have to put any money down for the project.

Learn some creative ways your own business or organization can reap the benefits of solar energy by attending our informational session.

At the meeting you can expect to learn more about the following--

-- Federal tax credits and grants that provide a minimum of 30% reduction on the system cost

-- Free technical assistance from the PA Solar Center

-- What to look for when selecting a solar developer

-- USDA REAP program grants and loans that offer up to 50% for rural businesses and ag producers
