Call For Presentations! Bucknell University 2024 River Symposium Nov. 8-9

The Bucknell University
Center for Sustainability and the Environment is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2024 River Symposium to be held November 8-9 at the Elaine Langone Center in Lewisburg, Union County.  

The deadline for submissions is October 22.

The symposium brings together academics, consultants, state, federal, and regional agencies, conservation groups, and the public to discuss ongoing scientific research and innovative projects, share ideas, and increase awareness of conservation efforts throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

The event, which will include speakers, poster and oral presentations, discussion sessions, and breakout meetings.

Abstracts are being sought for oral presentations and poster presentations covering a wide range of projects and research topics, including--  

-- New scientific results and findings

-- River-bay health and resiliency

-- Ecological conservation and restoration projects

-- Community partnerships and collaborations

-- Watershed art, history, and culture

-- Enabling hydrologic and ecologic science or its application

--  The contribution of ecological sciences and engineering to society

All interested parties, including faculty, students, professionals, and regulators, are invited to present.
