Some of our current activities and goals include, helping partner organizations in establishing riparian buffers; planting native gardens with US Army Corps of Engineers at Blue Marsh Lake; providing educational presentations to the 29 municipalities within our watershed; monitoring and water testing at over 24 sites along our 200 miles of waterways; working with Stroud Water Research Center in maintaining and monitoring real time data acquisition “Mayfly” sensors installed in our creeks.
TCWA also leads guided hikes, bike trips and kayaking trips within the Tulpehocken Creek Watershed.
