DEP Sets Hearings [If Needed] On RACT II Air Quality Plans For Facilities In Beaver, Berks, Greene, Lancaster, Washington, Westmoreland, York Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled public hearings [if needed] on RACT II Air Quality Plans for the Nova Chemicals facility in Beaver County, Carpenter Technology Corp facility in Berks County, Consol PA Coal Company facility in Greene County, two Dart Container Corporation facilities in Lancaster County, the Jessop Steel LLC facility in Washington County, the Vandergrift Facility, ATI Flat Rolled Products Holdings, LLC in Westmoreland County and the York Group, Inc casket manufacturing facility in York County.
Beaver County
The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled a February 12 hearing [if needed] on the RACT II Air Quality Plan for Nova Chemicals facility in Potter Township, Beaver County. (Jan. 11 PA Bulletin, page 230)
The hearing will be held at the DEP Southwest Regional Office, 400 Waterfront Drive in Pittsburgh starting at 1:00 p.m.

The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled a February 11 hearing [if needed] on the RACT II Air Quality Plan for the Carpenter Technology Corp facility in Reading City and Muhlenberg Township Berks County. (Jan. 11 PA Bulletin, page 228)
The hearing will be held at the DEP Southcentral Regional Office, 909 Elmerton Avenue in Harrisburg starting at 10:00 a.m.
To register to speak at the hearing, please contact Thomas Hanlon at 717-705- 4862. Speakers must pre-register in order to testify at the hearing. The last day to pre-register to speak at the hearing will be February 4.
