The Wildlife for Everyone Foundation will hold its 3rd Annual Wildlife Gala on April 3 at The Nittany Lion Inn, 200 West Park Avenue in State College starting at 5:00 p.m.
This year's guest speaker will be Scott Weindensaul. Well known for his research on owls, hummingbirds and songbirds, Weidensaul has authored over two dozen books.
Weidensaul's research focuses primarily on bird migration. He is a co-director of Project Owlnet, a collaborative effort among nearly 125 banding and research stations across North America studying owl migration, and for more than 20 years he has directed a major effort to study the movements of northern saw-whet owls, one of the smallest and least-understood raptors in North America
