PA Environment Digest Blog: Registration Now Open For 2026 PA Abandoned Mine Reclamation Conference Oct. 20-22 In Grantville, Dauphin County

Registrations are now being accepted for the PA Abandoned Mine Reclamation Conference set for October 20-22 at the Holiday Inn, Grantville in Dauphin County.

The theme of the Conference is-- Meeting the Challenge.

The Conference is the longest-running annual environmental conference in Pennsylvania focused on abandoned mine reclamation and the associated issues our communities face.

It provides a forum for the dissemination of information and encourages discussion between industry, watershed groups, and decision-makers that can help to further innovations in public policy, abandoned mine reclamation, and restoration of Pennsylvania’s watersheds and communities.

Scholarships will be considered this year for overnight lodging. Preference will be given to those who can room together to save on lodging costs and demonstrated need, distance, and availability of funding. Mileage and other travel costs are not being considered this year.
