The October 9, 2025 order required the well owner to plug at least one of the 11 conventional wells by December 31, 2025.
The owner also failed to submit annual production, waste generation and well integrity reports for each of the wells by November 28, 2025.
The wells include Fielding 2, Mortland 3, Mortland 4, Mortland, 5, Mortland 6, Mortland 7, Mortland 8, Renick 2, Renick 3, Renick 4 and Renick 5. Click Here for inspection reports.
The original violations were issued on March 13, 2024 for abandonment and failure to submit annual reports.
DEP requested the owner to respond to the latest violation by March 5, 2026. DEP inspection report.
