FracTracker Alliance Releases National A.I. Data Centers Tracker; Public Invited To Submit Information

The Johnstown-based FracTracker Alliance has published a National A.I. Data Center Tracker that includes existing, permitted and proposed facilities.

Pennsylvania is rapidly becoming a hotspot for A.I. data centers and the related industries announced over $90 billion worth of potential investments in the state on July 15.  Read more here.

Republican lawmakers in the Pennsylvania Senate and House are advancing legislation to entice A.I. data center developers with tax breaks, regulatory exemptions, and waivers of environmental standards to data centers already flocking to the state.  Read more here.

Pennsylvania’s existing Computer Data Center Equipment Sales Tax Exemption already provides a taxpayer-funded subsidy that is worth hundreds of millions of dollars to these facilities that buy billions of dollars worth of equipment.

FracTracker also encourages the public to contribute data on additional or missing sites through an online form.
