Delaware Highlands Conservancy Hosts Free Virtual Bugs, Balance, and Biodiversity Forest Health Program, Sept. 9

Join Trevor Tochydlowski, Forest Specialist with Wayne Conservation District, and Michael Antonishak, Service Forester with the DCNR Bureau of Forestry, for an in-depth look at the current state of Pennsylvania’s woodlands.

This program will explore how invasive pests, forest diseases, and wildlife dynamics affect forest health and resilience.

Learn how forest management plans are used to maintain species diversity, improve habitat quality, and guide long-term stewardship.

Whether you’re a landowner, nature enthusiast, or curious community member, this session will equip you with knowledge and tools to better understand and care for the forests around you.

For program details and to register, please visit the Event webpage or call 570-226-3164 ext. 2.  Zoom meeting details will be emailed to registered attendees.

The Delaware Highlands Conservancy’s mission is to conserve the forests, farmland, clean waters, and wildlife habitat of the Upper Delaware River region for present and future generations and to foster environmental stewardship through community engagement.
