The projects-- a 10.17 mile, 42-inch natural gas pipeline and related compressor station modifications-- are located in Drumore, East Drumore and Eden Townships, Lancaster County and East Whiteland Township, Chester County.
The permits and approvals involved are a Section 401 Water Quality Certification, Chapter 102 Erosion and Sedimentation Control Permit and a Chapter 105 Encroachment Permit.
-- DEP published notice in the June 28 PA Bulletin announcing it will hold an eighth public hearing July 22 to accept comments on the proposed state plan to implement an EPA federal rule 40 CFR Part 60, Subparts OOOOb and OOOOc Reducing Emissions Of Methane and Other Pollution from Oil and Natural Gas Operations. -- Bellwether District Holdings LLC - Philadelphia Refinery Site: DEP sent a Technical Deficiency Letter on the Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with unleaded gasoline to meet the Statewide Health Standard. (PA Bulletin, page 4442)
-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Rock Shale Gas Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated by production wastewater to meet Statewide Health Standards at the pad located in Overton Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 4441)
