DEP Sets June 4 Meeting/Hearing On Liberty Soils Biosolids Facility Permit In Schuylkill County

The Department of Environmental Protection will hold a June 4 public meeting/hearing on a waste management permit for the Liberty Soils Biosolids Management Facility located in Reilly Township, Schuylkill County. (PA Bulletin, page 3192)

The meeting/hearing will be held at the Tremont Borough Municipal Building, 139 Clay Street in Tremont.

The meeting to answer questions about the application will be held from 6:00 to 7:50 p.m. and the hearing will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Individuals wishing to testify at the hearing submit a written notice of intent to Roger Bellas, Waste Management Program Manager, Liberty Soils, LLC Public Hearing, PA DEP, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701-1915, or by email at rbellas@pa.gov. 

Persons unable to attend the hearing may submit written statements/comments to the Department on or before June 4, 2025.
