DEP Posted 103 Pages Of Permit-Related Notices In March 15 PA Bulletin

Highlights of the environmental and energy notices in the
March 15 PA Bulletin-- 

-- PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices, Opportunities To Comment - March 15 [PaEN]


-- DEP published multiple notices in the March 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on Chapter 105 Encroachment, Chapter 102 Erosion and Sedimentation permits and a Section 401 Certification for the National Fuel Gas Tioga Pathway Natural Gas Pipeline Project in McKean, Potter and Tioga Counties.  (PA Bulletin, pages 2200 - 2203

The Project includes constructing 19.48 miles of new pipeline in Potter and Tioga counties, replacing 3.84 miles of pipeline in Potter County, one new overpressure protection station in Potter County, installing measurement facilities in Tioga County, valve settings, and a cathodic protection ground bed.

The project area includes-- Liberty Township, McKean County; Allegany Township and Harrison Township, Potter County; and Brookfield Township, Chatham Township, Deerfield Township, Middlebury Township, and Westfield Township, Tioga County. Read more here.


-- DEP, PA Infrastructure Investment Authority published notice in the March 15 PA Bulletin inviting comments on environmental assessments for water infrastructure projects to be considered for funding from Allegheny, Butler, Cambria, Clearfield, Fayette, Lancaster and Somerset counties.  Comments due April 14.


-- Governor’s Executive Board published notice in the March 15 PA Bulletin of a new organizational chart for the Department of Environmental Protection [removed Local Government Liaison Office].  Click Here for previous chart.

-- Environmental Hearing Board published notice in the March 15 PA Bulletin announced an appeal has been filed related to the Core 5 Industrial lPartners, LLC NPDES Water Quality Permit for a warehouse project in Pocono Township, Monroe County by PennFuture.


Grants

-- DEP published notice in the March 15 PA Bulletin announcing a $75,000  Act 101 Section 901 waste planning grant has been awarded to Blair County


Bids

-- DEP published notice in the March 15 PA Bulletin announcing the opportunity to bid on the Saint Boniface West abandoned mine reclamation project in Elder Township, Cambria County.


Permits

-- Consol Pennsylvania Mining Company LLC - Robinson Fork Phase I & II Mitigation Banks: DEP invites comments on a Chapter 105 Encroachment permit covering use of mitigation bank credits from the Robinson Fork Phase I & II projects to support compensatory mitigation in Richhill Twp., Greene County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2203)
