The Range Resources notice of violation covered shale gas wells in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Clinton, Lycoming, and Washington counties for the January 2025 reports.
The LPR Energy notice of violation was for shale gas wells in Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clearfield, Fayette, and Somerset counties for the January 2025 reports.
Well owners have 10 days to respond to the violation.

On March 19, 2025 DEP issued a notice of violation for failure to submit the January production and waste generation report for one or more shale gas wells in Oakland Township, Venango County, and East Fairfield Township, Crawford County. The owner has 10 days to respond.
PPG Oper LLC - Violations: Failure to Submit Shale Gas Production/Waste Report
On March 19, 2025 DEP issued a notice of violation for failure to submit the January production and waste generation report for one or more shale gas wells in Goshen and Girard Townships, Clearfield County. The owner has 10 days to respond.
Baker Gas Inc. - Violations: Failure to Submit Shale Gas Production/Waste Report
On March 19, 2025 DEP issued a notice of violation for failure to submit the January production and waste generation report for one or more shale gas wells in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. The owner has 10 days to respond.
John E. McCool- Violations: Failure to Submit Shale Gas Production/Waste Report
On March 19, 2025 DEP issued a notice of violation for failure to submit the January production and waste generation report for one or more shale gas wells in Brokenstraw Township, Warren County. The owner has 10 days to respond.
Media Res Dev Co LLC - Violations: Failure to Submit Shale Gas Production/Waste Report
