The Project includes constructing 19.48 miles of new pipeline in Potter and Tioga counties, replacing 3.84 miles of pipeline in Potter County, one new overpressure protection station in Potter County, installing measurement facilities in Tioga County, valve settings, and a cathodic protection ground bed.
To support construction activities and operation of the Project, National Fuel estimates that approximately 3.96 miles of temporary access roads and 1.76 miles of permanent access roads will be used.
In addition, three previously used staging areas will be used to store materials and equipment.

Permits Open For Comment
Four proposed DEP actions are open for public comment-- Section 401 certification of the entire project; two Chapter 105 encroachment permits and one Chapter 102 Erosion and Sedimentation Permit covering the pipeline portions of the project--
-- Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the entire project in Liberty Township, McKean County; Allegany Township and Harrison Township, Potter County; and Brookfield Township, Chatham Township, Deerfield Township, Middlebury Township, and Westfield Township, Tioga County (PA Bulletin, page 2200)
-- Chapter 105 Encroachment Permits (2)

Comments on all these actions must be submitted within 30 days of the PA Bulletin notice-- April 14.
