National Fish & Wildlife Foundation Hosts 5 Webinar Series On Regional-Scale Collaborative Approaches For Chesapeake Bay Restoration

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's
Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund will host a series of five webinars on Regional-Scale Collaborative Approaches For Chesapeake Bay Restoration during August.
The webinars will address key factors that contribute to their success and how collaboratives evolve, adapt, and mature to sustain progress.

NFWF welcomes stakeholders interested in NFWF’s Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction Grants Program, as they will gain insights on what makes for a competitive, INSR-ready collaborative restoration proposal.

Local governments, conservation districts, research and higher education institutions, state agencies, nonprofit organizations, and other agencies and organizations are invited to attend and participate in the sessions. 

The webinars will be held--

-- August 6: Regional Collaborative Partnerships: Raising the Bar for Improving Bay Water Quality. 1:30 p.m.

-- August 18: Interstate Regional Collaboratives: Grazing and Wetlands - Mission and Evaluation. Noon.

-- August 20: Basin Watershed Collaboratives: Riparian Buffers and Herding Cats - Relationships and Policies. 1:30.

-- August 25: Urban Collaboratives: Targeting Cities and Interesting Infrastructures - Motivation and Capacity. 1:30 p.m.

-- August 27: Agricultural and Rural Collaboratives: The Shenandoah Valley - Operating Resources, Relationship, and Effective Process. 1:30 p.m.
