DEP: New Location For Dec. 4 Bucks County Hearing On 2 New Adelphia Natural Gas Pipeline Compressor Stations In Bucks, Delaware Counties

On November 30, the Department of Environmental Protection announced it has changed the location of the Bucks County hearing-- one of the 2 public hearings DEP scheduled on the Air Quality Permits needed for 2 new natural gas compressor stations on the Adelphia Pipeline in West Rockhill Township, Bucks County and Lower Chichester Township, Delaware County. Bucks County
The Bucks County hearing location HAS CHANGED. The hearing on the Bucks County compressor station permit will now be held at the West Rockhill Elementary School, 1000 Washington Ave, Sellersville from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The hearing was scheduled for the West Rockhill Township Municipal Building, 1028 Ridge Road in Sellersville.

Delaware County
The Delaware County hearing location has NOT CHANGED. The hearing will be held at the Lower Chichester Township Municipal Building, 1410 Market Street in Linwood from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Persons wishing to present testimony at the hearing should contact Virginia Cain, Environmental Community Relations Specialist, by sending email to: vicain@pa.gov or calling 484-250-5808.
Submitting Comments
These hearings are intended to allow residents the opportunity to comment on the draft plan approvals. Air Quality Plan Approvals address air pollution sources and applicable control devices, including monitoring and recordkeeping, that will ensure construction and operation are conducted in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Public comments will be accepted until December 14 for both permits. DEP will record testimony and receive written comments throughout the hearing. All comments, whether submitted orally or in writing, are considered equal and will be responded to in a comment response document following the review.

Comments may also be emailed to epseroaqpubcom@pa.gov, with the subject clearly stating that the email is intended for public record.
