The CCRRA mini-grant provides reimbursement grant funding for projects that improve recycling education and collection of source-separated materials to be processed by CCRRA.
During this grant round, CCRRA awarded a total of $22,482.64 (see breakout below).
Congratulations to the 2025 Recycling Mini-Grant award recipients:
-- Sierra Club – Moshannon Group: Durable Reusable Grocery Bags with Recycling Education; $7,066.54
-- Centre Region Council Of Governments: Recycling Outreach Campaign for Off-Campus Students; $1,400.00
-- Penn State Office of Physical Plant/Sustainability/Sustainable Labs: Research Lab Plastic Recycling Pilot Project; $5,736.10
-- Borough of State College: Cardboard Recycling Container Replacement Project; $8,280.00
CCRRA plans to offer another Recycling Mini-Grant opportunity in 2026 and encourages projects that will increase the quantity and quality of recycling in and around Centre County.
