DEP To Hold June 17 Hearing On Warren County Sulfur Dioxide Maintenance Plan, Redesignation Request

The Department of Environmental Protection invites comments at a June 17 hearing on the Warren Area sulfur dioxide air quality maintenance plan and attainment redesignation request.

DEP developed a draft maintenance plan demonstrating that the Warren Area can maintain the 2010 1-hour Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for the next 10 years as required under section 175A(a) of the Federal Clean Air Act that is now available for public comment.

The hearing will be held on June 17 starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Warren Public Library, Slater Room, 205 Market Street in Warren, PA.
