DEP Invites Comments At April 30 Hearing On RACT 3 Air Quality Permit For Tennessee Gas Pipeline Compressor Station 307 In Howe Twp., Forest County

The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled an April 30 hearing on the RACT 3 Air Quality Permit for the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Compressor Station 307 in Howe Township, Forest County.  (PA Bulletin, page 2390)

The station is classified as a major facility for RACT purposes having the potential to emit greater than 100 tons per year of nitrogen oxide (NOx) and 50 tons per year of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions.

The hearing will be held at the DEP Northwest Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street in Meadville from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Persons wishing to present testimony at the public hearing should register with Matthew Williams, Environmental Group Manager, at matwilliam@pa.gov or phone 814.332.6131.

Registration to testify will close at 5:00 PM on April 23, 2025. In the event that no one registers for the hearing by April 23, 2025, the hearing will be canceled.

Comments are due 30 days from the date of this PA Bulletin notice.
