DEP Posts 56 Pages Of Permit-Related Notices In July 16 PA Bulletin

The Department of Environmental Protection published 56 pages of public notices related to proposed and final permit and approval/ disapproval actions in the July 16 PA Bulletin -
pages 3989 - 4045.
Highlights include--

-- The State Board of Education published notice in the July 16 PA Bulletin of final regulations setting education standards for Science, Environment, Ecology, Agriculture, Technology and Engineering Grades K-12  (PA Bulletin, page 3970). Read more here.

-- The Department of Environmental Protection invites comments on a draft technical guidance on Pennsylvania’s Public Water System Capability Enhancement Strategy (DEP ID: 391-0400-001).  (formal notice)

-- DEP published notices related to two major stormwater General permits--

-- DEP published notices inviting comments on two federal Coastal Zone Management Act consistency determinations--

-- CSX Transportation is proposing to abandon a section of railroad in Erie County

-- Energy Transfer maintenance dredging at Marcus Hook Terminal In Delaware County

-- DEP published notice inviting comments on proposed Hazardous Sites Cleanup Consent Order for the Intercourse TCE Site in Leacock Township, Lancaster County. (PA Bulletin, page 4026).

-- DEP published notice announcing its intent to issue an Air Quality Permit to the Sunoco Pipeline natural gas liquids Beckersville pumping station in Brecknock Township, Berks County which will release 138 tons of greenhouse gas emissions. -- Beech Resources, 343 Pine Street, Williamsport for the storage of oil and gas liquid waste to be used as a water supply to develop or frack an oil or gas well.

-- PennEnergy Resources, 756 Ekastown Road, Sarver for the storage of oil and gas liquid waste to be used as a water supply to develop or frack an oil or gas well.
