NFWF Now Soliciting Proposals For Chesapeake Bay Watershed WILD Grants, Due April 21

As a result of the recently passed federal appropriations bill, the Fish and Wildlife Service has secured inaugural, dedicated funding for the recently authorized Chesapeake Watershed Investments for Landscape Defense (WILD) grants program.

The Service is partnering with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to administer those funds through its existing Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund grants programs portfolio.

For this initial year, NFWF is soliciting proposals for projects addressing Chesapeake WILD priorities through the open Small Watershed Grants Program solicitation with proposals due April 21.

In future years, Chesapeake WILD projects will be solicited through appropriately dedicated and specific branding and program parameters via our annual spring solicitation cycle.

NFWF is holding a March 24 webinar from 2:00 to 3:00 for prospective Chesapeake WILD project applicants.  Click Here to register.
