PA Lake Management Society Accepting Applications For Lake, Reservoir Water Quality Improvement Mini Grants

The
PA Lake Management Society is now accepting applications for Lake and Reservoir Water Quality Improvement Mini Grants.  The deadline for applications is June 30.

The grants offer assistance to counties, municipalities, nonprofits, and landowners to

address lake-related issues of critically eroded shorelines, excess nutrient loading, and/or

aquatic invasive species that degrade the quality of lakes in the Commonwealth.

Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis of up to $24,000 each to correct identified lake problems. This grant round is expected to fund nearly $400,000 in mini grant projects.

To be considered for funding, the application must demonstrate that the project can be fully implemented and all paperwork submitted for reimbursement by October 15, 2022.

Projects that maximize funding toward implementation costs (i.e., not administrative costs) will receive high priority in award decisions.
