On October 15, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources issued its fourth weekly Fall Foliage Report for October 15 to 21 which shows fall colors blazing all across Pennsylvania.
Spectacular autumn color persists throughout the commonwealth this week! From the northwest to the central Appalachians and Laurel Highlands to the Poconos, incredible fall scenery awaits.
Cold nights in the forecast this weekend will likely snap southeastern forests into vivid color soon. With below average temperatures expected next week, the outlook for fall color remains outstanding for the commonwealth.
The report includes specific reports from DCNR foresters in regions across the state. New reports will be issued every Thursday.
Visitors can get suggestions about the best spots to view fall foliage on the Penn’s Woods Fall Foliage story map and on the Pennsylvania Tourism Office website.
