DEP Sets Hearings [If Needed] On RACT II Air Quality Plans For NLMK PA Farrell Plant, Mercer County; Carpenter Metals, Westmoreland County Jan. 22

The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled hearings [if needed] on RACT II Air Quality Plans for the NLMK Farrell Plant in Farrell, Mercer County and the Carpenter Latrobe Specialty Metals Company in Latrobe, Westmoreland County. (Dec. 14 PA Bulletin page 7357 & 7358)

NLMK Farrell Plant

DEP will hold a hearing on the NLMK Farrell Plant RACT II Plan on January 22 at the DEP Northwest Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street in Meadville starting at 10:00 a.m.  To register for the hearing, or to inquire if a hearing will be held, please contact Tom Decker at 814-332-6615.

Carpenter Metals

DEP will hold a hearing on the Carpenter Metals RACT II Plan on January 22 at the DEP Southwest Regional Office, 400 Waterfront Drive in Pittsburgh starting at 1:00.  To register to speak at a hearing, or to inquire if a hearing will be held, please contact Thomas Joseph at 412-442-4336.
