The PA Environmental Council will hold a public meeting on December 5 to gather input for a feasibility study for the proposed Wilkes-Barre and Eastern Rail Trail Corridor.
PEC has retained a trail planning consultant to study the feasibility of various trail routing alternatives along remnant and active portions of rail corridors linking the Poconos with the Lackawanna and Wyoming Valleys.
The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. at the Lackawanna College Environmental Education Center, 93 MacKenzie Road, Covington Township.
Those interested in attending can RSVP by email to Nate Dorfman by sending email to: ndorfman@pecpa.org.
