The County Commissioners Association of PA has identified over $1 billion in cuts proposed by the House Republican raid on special funds that will hurt counties and sent that information to all House members.
They highlighted the facts of how raiding these funds will hurt counties-
-- 911 Fund: $40 million
-- Agricultural Conservation Easement Purchase Fund: $27 million
-- Conservation District Fund: $3.3 million
-- Recycling Fund: $75 million
-- Justice Reinvestment Fund: $4.828 million
-- Multimodal Transportation Fund: $120 million
-- Public Transportation Trust Fund: $357 million
-- Compulsive and Problem Gambling Treatment Fund: $4.2 million
-- Energy Development Fund: $3.972 million
-- Environmental Education Fund: $1.285 million
-- Environmental Stewardship Fund: $72.7 million
-- Hazardous Sites Cleanup Fund: $50 million
-- Highway Beautification: $500,000
-- Historical Preservation Fund: $7 million
-- Industrial Development Fund: $47,000
-- Industrial Sites Cleanup Fund: $10 million
-- Industrial Sites Environmental Assessment Fund: $7.5 million
-- Job Training Fund: $359,000
-- Keystone Recreation, Park, and Conservation Fund: $100 million
-- Local Government Capital Project Loan Fund: $2.3 million
-- PA Infrastructure Bank: $30 million
-- Solid Waste-Resource Recovery Development Fund: $448,000
-- Underground Storage Tank Indemnification Fund: $100 million
-- Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority Fund: $12 million
