Duquesne University Offers Water Management Certification Prep Program June 28-29

With more attention being given to water management, Duquesne University’s Center for Green Industries and Sustainable Business Growth will host a program June 28-29 preparing leaders for certification in the field.
“A growing number of businesses, industries, institutions, utilities, cities and governmental agencies are looking for strategies to reduce water usage, lower their costs and increase their sustainability,” said Dr. Mary McKinney, administrator of the center. “This new program, offered in cooperation with the Association of Energy Engineers, will help to meet those goals.”
The two-day program on June 28 and 29, will provide best practices for improving water efficiency. Implementing these technologies is often a team effort, with contributions from team members holding varied backgrounds, responsibilities and expertise levels.
The program also will prepare participants for the association’s Certified Water Efficiency Professional Exam, which acknowledges this understanding of technical and operational water management principles.
