The Freshwater Research Initiative at Susquehanna University is now soliciting proposals for 2016 for collaborative aquatic research projects through a grant received from the R.K. Mellon Foundation. The deadline for proposals is March 1.
There is a maximum per project funding of $20,000 with a total of $70,000 in funding available.
The goal of the Freshwater Research Initiatives to engage in collaborative aquatic research between faculty, students, aquatic professionals, governmental agencies, and nonprofit groups in the Susquehanna River basin to focus on the ecological problems that are currently impacting the river and its tributaries.
