High school seniors can now apply for a PA House of Representatives Scholarship to help cover the costs of higher education. The deadline to apply is March 1.
The scholarship program, administered through the Foundation for Enhancing Communities, is open to graduating high school seniors who are Pennsylvania residents with plans to attend a Pennsylvania college.
Each year, two students are selected by an independent panel of judges to receive four-year scholarships, which are privately funded by individual and corporate donors. No tax or other public funds are used.
To be eligible, students must have attained a 3.0 grade point average in high school. A student’s commitment to community, leadership qualities, extracurricular activities and financial need are also considered.
To apply, visit the PA House of Representatives Scholarship webpage.
