Project WET Workshops March 16 In Poconos, March 30 In West Chester

Thinking about being a Project WET educator?  Attend the Project WET Facilitator Workshop to be held March 16 at the Inn at Pocono Manor in connection with the PA Association of Environmental Educators Conference
During this 8 hour workshop we'll wade through how to best utilize the new full color Guide 2.0 curriculum book, the online Discover Water resource and the ins and outs of getting people of any age involved in the wonderful world of water!  
This workshop is great for leaders of all ages PreK - adult, pre-service educators, scout leaders and non-formal educators and includes your own copy of the Guide 2.0 and access to Project WET online support.  
Upon completing the in person workshop you will become a Project WET Educator and upon completing the at home assignment you will become a Project WET Facilitator and will be able to run workshops at your own facility or for other organizations.  
Continuing education hours (Act 48) are available for educators and a certificate of completion will be provided.  
This is a post-workshop day to the PAEE Annual Conference.  All educators and interested adults are welcome to attend the workshop and conference.  More information and registration can be done through the PAEE website.
March 30 Workshop
New to the international curriculum of Project WET? Has it been ages since you were trained in Project WET?  Attend the March 30 Project WET workshop at the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance in West Chester.
This is not your typical workshop, we'll be up and active and even out on the trails and down at the creek practicing. learning and having fun! Project WET has launched their new full color Guide 2.0 and new online resources with educational games for students.
Participants will receive the new Guide 2.0 and hands-on experience with various activities and the online resources.  This program is provided for free thanks to a grant from the Department of Environmental Protection.  Registration is required and can be done online.
This program is open to formal, non-formal and pre-service teachers as well as interested adults.
