These events, held in partnership with the Allegheny County Health Department, will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.--
-- September 27: Settlers Cabin Park, 635 Ridge Rd Pittsburgh, PA 15205
-- October 18: Northgate High School, 589 Union Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15202 - event sponsored by Quaker Valley COG
Fees will be charged to recycle materials--
-- Participant Fee ($5 per car) -- Individuals can drop off unlimited cell/home phones, computer towers and peripheral equipment (keyboards, laptops, mice, etc.), expanded polystyrene packaging material, microwave ovens and video game consoles/DVD players.
-- Per-Item Fee -- Individuals can recycle televisions and computer monitors, printers, fluorescent tubes, small Freon appliances and tires (with and without rims).
Participants must register in advance for these events online at PRC’s Collection Events webpage or 412-488-7490.
The 2025 PRC hard-to-recycle collection campaign is sponsored by Allegheny County Health Department, Allegheny County Parks Department, Colcom Foundation, Department of Environmental Protection, 11 Cares, Pennsylvania American Water, Quaker Valley Council of Governments, Styropek, 90.5 WESA and 91.3 WYEP.
