The symposium brings together academics, consultants, state, federal, and regional agencies, conservation groups, and the public to discuss ongoing scientific research and innovative projects, share ideas, and increase awareness of conservation efforts throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
Abstracts are being sought for oral presentations and poster presentations covering a wide range of projects and research topics. All interested parties, including faculty, students, professionals, and regulators, are invited to present.
The abstract can cover topics related, but not limited to:
-- new scientific results and findings
-- river-bay health and resiliency
-- ecological conservation and restoration projects
-- community partnerships and collaborations
-- watershed art, history, and culture
-- enabling hydrologic and ecologic science or its application
-- the contribution of ecological sciences and engineering to society
