Lumber Heritage Region Now Accepting Applications For Recreation, Conservation Mini-Grants

The
Lumber Heritage Region is now accepting applications for mini-grants to support local outdoor recreation and conservation projects.  The deadline to apply is September 30.

Projects in Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Tioga, and Warren counties are eligible.

If applying from Indiana, Cambria, or Clarion Counties, contact the Lumber Heritage Region to confirm eligibility.

Eligible activities include, but not limited to--

-- Educational resources promoting the forest products industry and regional heritage.

-- Projects highlighting history, diversity, and recreational opportunities in the region.

-- Outdoor recreation projects aligned with LHR themes.

-- Packaged itineraries and tourism products.

-- Elements from existing plans like trails, watersheds, and greenways.
