DEP Now Accepting Grant Applications For Small Business Advantage Energy Efficiency, Pollution Prevention, Natural Resource Conservation Projects

The Department of Environmental Protection published
notice in the August 9 PA Bulletin announcing it is now accepting applications for Small Business Advantage energy efficiency, pollution prevention and natural resource conservation grants through March 13.

The Program is a first-come, first-served grant program that provides matching grants, ranging from a maximum of 50% or $7,500 up to 80% or $12,000, whichever is less. 

Maximum funding will vary based on project location and environmental impact. 

Eligible projects must save the small business a minimum of $500 per year and at least 20% in annual energy consumption or pollution-related expenses.

To be eligible, the applicant's business must be Commonwealth-based, be registered to do business in this Commonwealth and be a for-profit small business with 100 or fewer full-time equivalent employees.
