DEP Now Accepting Bids To Plug 7 Conventional Gas Wells In Washington County

The Department of Environmental Protection published
notice in the August 23 PA Bulletin announcing it is now accepting bids to plug seven conventional gas wells in Smith, North Strabane, North Franklin and Canton Townships in Washington County.

A mandatory prebid conference will be held on August 27 at the Washington Crown Center parking lot, 1500 West Chestnut Street in Washington, PA starting at 10:00 a.m.

Funding is provided by the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Act through the US Department of the Interior.
