On October 10,
Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Board of Directors announces the appointment of Kelsey DeMerlis, Director, Center for Community Services at the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and Wesley Robinson, Press Secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

In addition to her work with DCED, DeMerlis previously served at the Office of the Philadelphia Youth Network, is a board member for the Clean Air Council and Sunday Breakfast Club and is a proud graduate from Penn State University.

Reflecting on her new role, she shared, “I am excited to join the KPB board, an organization whose mission impacts all communities across the Commonwealth. I look forward to supporting the continuous growth of KPB and beautifying communities!”

Robinson, who also has served as press Secretary and Communications Manager for the Pennsylvania State Senate state, “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Pennsylvania in a volunteer capacity on the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Board. I stress the word volunteer because it is important to recognize the work to take care of Pennsylvania based on their love of this beautiful Commonwealth. Much of that work is done by volunteers who clean waterways, roadsides, and beyond. I am extremely excited to have the chance to lead in this space as a part of this board and look forward to helping champion the important initiatives and work of the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful team.”

“Please join us in welcoming Kelsey and Wesley. With their unique blend of experience, expertise, and energy, they bring fresh perspectives and innovative leadership to our mission. Their diverse backgrounds and direction will be instrumental as we strive to empower Pennsylvanians to keep our communities clean and beautiful,” said Phoebe Coles-Wezel, Board of Directors Chair for Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful
