Nov. 27 Penn State Extension Webinar On Environmentally Sensitive Areas On The Farm - Ponds And Lakes

The Penn State Extension
Center for Ag Conservation Assistance Training will host a webinar November 27 in its Environmentally Sensitive Areas On The Farm Series, this one on Ponds and Lakes from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

Pennsylvania's landscape is dotted with ponds and lakes, offering scenic beauty and recreation to residents.

While some of these water bodies occur naturally, many have been purposefully constructed, each presenting unique challenges for landowners and community groups.

Effective management requires an understanding of pond and lake ecology, aquatic plant control, and strategies to manage nutrients and sediment.

This informative webinar is designed for agricultural conservation professionals and will provide an in-depth overview of these topics, equipping participants with the knowledge to make informed decisions about maintaining the health and balance of their ponds and lakes.
