Midstream, and water service business leaders are expected to gather in Pittsburgh for networking and discussion of the latest produced water [wastewater] industry trends pertaining to commercialization, business risks/opportunities, optimization, and capital allocation.
Speakers will include major unconventional shale gas drilling companies, conventional oil and gas operators, midstream pipeline companies, the Susquehanna River Basin Commission and companies that supply water to oil and gas drilling operations.
[Each of the oil and gas companies speaking at the Conference have had significant wastewater leaks and spills, including Seneca Resources which had a 63,000 gallons spill on a state game lands site.
[Oil and gas facility operators are responsible for creating new contaminated brownfield sites every week in Pennsylvania. Nearly 55% of the brownfield sites being cleaned up under DEP’s Act 2 Land Recycling Program are oil and gas contamination sites. Read more here.]
