Inspired in part by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Reimagine Projects give community members a space in which to propose their ideas and envision a new way forward for their community in face of the climate crisis.
This event kicks off the first ever Reimagine Project based around a college and its surrounding community.
The event will bring Ursinus College students and faculty and Collegeville community members together to envision a healthy and sustainable future for the Collegeville community.
If you care about your community and want to combat climate change, please join us for the first of many visioning sessions.
Kathy Cook, LWVPA Environmental Policy Director, will give an overview of the Reimagine Projects in the Western part of Pennsylvania.
Members of the audience will then have an opportunity to participate in a visioning session to discuss economic prosperity, sustainability, climate mitigation and environmentally healthy communities.
Residents of Montgomery County and League members wishing to learn more about the Reimagine Project are welcome. This is the first of several visioning sessions.
If you are interested, but can’t attend, please contact environmentalpolicy@palwv.org.
