PA Forestry Association, Ned Smith Center Release 5th Forest Heritage Video - History Of PA's Forest Products Industry

The
PA Forestry Association, in cooperation with the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, is proud to bring you the fifth video-- History Of Forest Products Industry-- that is part of the Discovering PA’s Forest Heritage series.

This video and the Forest Heritage Center at Caledonia State Park discusses the history of the Commonwealth’s forest products industry which relies on the harvest of trees from its publicly and privately-owned forests.

Forest Heritage Discovery Center

The Forest Heritage Discovery Center at Caledonia State Park in Franklin County has a comprehensive display of wildfire fighting equipment, including a fire fighting truck, and Smokey Bear memorabilia.

The Forest Heritage Discovery Center is normally open for visitation in the summer months.
