Dept. Of Health Reported 19 Additional Deaths Due To COVID-19; 501 New Cases; Live Event 2:00

On August 26, the Department of Health reported 19 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,624.
As of 12:00 a.m. August 26, there were 501 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 130,536 in all 67 counties.
Approximately 9,432 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
