CANCELED Due To Concerns About Coronavirus: Pennsylvania Lake Erie Environmental Forum Set For March 24 In Erie

The Forum has been canceled due to concerns about the coronavirus.
The spring 2020 Pennsylvania Lake Erie Environmental Forum will take place on March 24 at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center  in Erie, Pennsylvania. 
The public is invited to attend this valuable Forum, which will provide updates about the health and status of Lake Erie and the surrounding watershed.  
Featured presentations include:
-- The Blue Economy, Jefferson Educational Society, Civic Leadership Academy
-- PA Lake Erie Harmful Algal Blooms Monitoring and Detection, Jeanette Schnars, RSC
-- Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier Park – New Programs, John Vanco, LEAF
-- GLRI in Pennsylvania - Municipal Stormwater Management Assistance Program, Michael Guelcher, Erie County Department of Planning 
Lake Erie and the surrounding watershed play a significant role in the economic vitality, cultural heritage, and overall environmental health of Erie County and the region. 
Recognizing this, the Department of Environmental Protection organized the Pennsylvania Lake Erie Environmental Forum, to share environmental and regional information with the community. Forums are held twice a year and are open to the public.
The Forum will be held in Room 112 of the Tom Ridge Environmental Center from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
