Celebrate the unique Upper Delaware River region with the Delaware Highlands Conservancy at the 13th annual Foods of the Delaware Highlands Dinner on April 25th at 5:30 p.m.
The popular event, held at Silver Birches Waterfront in Hawley, Wayne County, features a four-course farm-to-fork dinner and wine tasting followed by an exciting live auction. It is the Conservancy’s primary benefit event.
Honorees
Join us for this very special year in which we posthumously honor Richard L. Snyder for the generous bequest of his beloved Foster Hill Farm in Milford to support the Conservancy.
The Conservancy is also proud to honor the leadership and members of Lehman Lake Rod & Gun Club, Mink Pond Club, and Maskenozha Rod & Gun Club—the three members of “The Northeast Connection,” comprising nearly 3,700 acres of forests and waters now permanently protected in Pike County. Their foresight will enable these conserved lands to benefit residents, visitors, and wildlife for generations to come.
Dinner/Silent Auction
The evening begins with a hors d’oeuvres and silent auction at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The live auction and raffle cap the celebration during dessert. Dinner tickets are $140 per person, which includes a $75 charitable gift to the Conservancy. Delicious gourmet cuisine will be prepared using locally grown ingredients.
The Conservancy’s Foods of the Delaware Highlands Dinner Committee includes Sean Strub, Honorary Chair; Kate Hayes, Chair; Cyndee Cann, Barbara Cuffe, Stephen Geldman, Jeanne Genzlinger, Marta Hallett, Nancy Kiesendahl Bloch, Karen Lutz, Joann Morsch, Diane Rosencrance, Mary Sue Sweeney Price, and Bethany Zarnowski.
Live and silent auctions offer exciting selections, including a relaxing stay at the Lodge at Woodloch; a day of guided fly fishing at Mink Pond Club; and a guided float trip on the Delaware River with homemade gourmet lunch.
