Call Before You Go: DCNR, DEP Are Canceling Or Converting Meetings To Calls Or Online Due To Coronavirus Concerns

As a result of Gov. Wolf's directive to state agencies about avoiding large meetings and gatherings due to coronavirus concerns, the departments of Conservation and Natural Resources and Environmental Protection are now canceling some meetings of advisory committees, workshops and conferences or converting others to conference calls or online meetings.
For example-
-- March 17 DEP Citizens Advisory Council meeting is now by phone only.
-- March 17 Penn State/DCNR Forest Health, Insect & Disease Briefing in State College is canceled.
-- March 24 Pennsylvania Lake Erie Environmental Forum in Erie is canceled.
If you have questions about whether a meeting or public event will be held, please call ahead to make sure the meeting or event is still on.
If there is an event in a State Park you were planning to go to, please call ahead to see if it is still being held.
The PaEN Public Participation Opportunities/Calendar of Events listing will be kept updated as information is received.
You can also check the DEP Calendar of Events and the DCNR Calendar of Events.
Your understanding and patience is appreciated.
