Joint Conservation Committee To Have New Chair, Will Continue Operating Until 2021

The Joint Senate/House Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee’s July newsletter announced the Committee will be welcoming a new chair in the Fall.
Sen. Scott Hutchinson (R-Venango) had served as Chair of the Joint Conservation Committee since 1995.
The Committee also announced it would be operating as usual-- scheduling tours, doing hearings and environmental and energy research until the scheduled termination of the Committee on July 1, 2021.  
The Committee just celebrated its 50th anniversary in January of 2018.
