Penn State Extension Hosts Strawberry Hill Animal Ambassador For Jan. 29 In-Person Owls Up Close Workshop In Gettysburg

The
Penn State Extension will host an in-person workshop January 29 on Owls Up Close at the Agricultural and Natural Resources Center in Gettysburg from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.

Discover the world of owls with Strawberry Hill's barred owl, Strix, and learn how these birds reveal insights about habitat, behavior, and environmental health.

The featured instructors will be Anne Gageby, Director of Education at the Strawberry Hill environmental education center in Fairfield, Adams County and Karen Kaslow, Master Watershed Steward Coordinator for Adams County.
