DEP Internships

DEP has a variety of paid intern opportunities, including--

-- Assisting mining staff engineers on field investigations;

-- Working with Air Quality engineers with the review and approval of permits/plans, and evaluations;

-- Shadowing staff in the development of reclamation schemes for abandoned mine lands;

-- Supporting the development and maintenance of GIS applications and geodatabases; and

-- Assisting biologists in conducting watershed assessments, cause/effect and point of first use surveys, and collection of annual fish tissue samples.
