Penn State Extension and Audubon Pennsylvania have collaborated on an Improving Forest-Bird Habitat Through Forestry Webinar series available during July.
The webinar series will provide advice from a variety of experts including, Audubon PA, Penn State Extension, U.S Forest Service, PA Game Commission, and the Natural Resource Conservation Service.
The goal of the webinars is to train natural resources management professionals and landowners in sustainable forestry practices that benefit birds, while still meeting commercial, recreational, and aesthetic goals; and provide forestry professionals with the knowledge and skills to attract a new and diverse clientele.
Who should attend? Forestry, wildlife, and other natural resource management professionals as well as interested forest landowners.
The live webinars will be held July 7, 14, 21 and 28. Webinars in this series are recorded and available to those who register.
Society of American Foresters Continuing Forestry Education Credits will be provided for attending the LIVE webinar sessions.
